Drink thanks fans for the environment especially the ones who didn't wear any shirts.

Drink says Luther Burden has a knack for making plays. He had two touchdowns.

Drink said his goal was to have these seniors be able to get a rock from the big M right outside the field. He said this was one of the cleanest games Mizzou has played all season and that they played well in the elements.

He called Barrett Banister really unselfish and that he just does things the right way.

Drink said that Isaiah McGuire, Ty'Ron Hopper, KAD, and Banister didn't return to the game, but he has no updates.

He said the young guys being able to play is a good opportunity for them to develop. He thought some of them handled it well and some of them didn't. He said some of them took advantage of the opportunity and others were "too busy being next to the heaters on the sideline." He said he wasn't pleased with the way some guys played.

He said Jalani Williams and Daylan Carnell showed out.

He thinks the defense played okay, but it wasn't as clean as it needed to be. He didn't think the zone coverage was good. NMSU converted 8-16 on third down.

He said DJ Coleman is an example of playing advantage of every opportunity. He called him a hard worker and that he's on a mission.

He joked that Ryan Hoerstkamp will be in Brady's ear about scoring a TD on his first career target.

He said Cook has played his best two games in the last two outings.

Drink said that they practiced outside on Tuesday and Wednesday and that he thinks it was colder on those days.

Drink said Daylan Carnell is always around the ball. "He's done a good job, continued to develop and is a real force on the defensive side of the ball."
