He's scheduled for an OV this weekend. Problem I see with that is that the staff is going to be on the road at AAU events for the evaluation period.
Had a source tell me Mizzou was likely his leader prior to the Mark Smith commitment, but that may have changed things on both ends. Missouri has room for two more, but I don't think Plan A would be having two guards who are sitting out for a year.
My educated guess (no one has flat out told me this, but I think it's probably accurate) is that Courtney Ramey is Plan A. But there's going to be some sort of a time limit on how long they'll wait (I think that time limit is probably within a week or so). Not saying they'll move on from Ramey, per se, but more of a "We want him but if we fill the spot with someone else before he's ready to decide so be it" approach.
I know Mizzou has been trying to get Ramey on campus. To my knowledge he has not committed to making the trip at this point. I'd think they'll try to get him up here for a day in the very near future. If that doesn't happen, they bring Dru Smith in. If they can get Ramey, I'm not sold Smith makes the trip.
Smith has already visited Virginia Tech and Xavier.
