I mean, controversies aside, the guy does win.
And if I recall correctly, most of his controversies were personal stuff. But nothing involving cheating or paying players. So if all we'd have to worry about was him doinking the secretaries, I'd be ok with that. (As long as he wasn't forcing anybody to do it... The woman at Arkansas was married, but she was willing, right?)
So let's say Lamar Jackson goes pro after this year. Don't u think Petrino would be interested in a chance to get back into the SEC?... And if he came here, he'd be on the soft side of the SEC, meaning he wouldn't have to play Alabama, Auburn, and/or LSU every year... And as a bonus for him, he would get to play Arkansas every year.
And as I understand it, Petrino's got 2 younger QBs at Louisville that he likes, and Jackson does have another yr of eligibility after this yr if he wants it. So maybe Petrino wouldn't even want to come here. But if it were up to me, I'm saying let's go get him.
