Now I realize we are a quarter and a half into the Vandy game, but what a turnaround. It has a little to do with the second half of the season being easier than the first, but a lot to do with coaching... The team could have quit. To be honest after the Auburn game I thought they would finish with 3 wins. I have to credit Odom, the staff, and most importantly the players. What a great turnaround... I wish we would play Georgia next week! I think the result would be much different.
Gabe always says he knew Pinkel would be successful when he got his team up for a meaningless last game in a non bowl season. Think about this Odom got his team up for 5 straight games (so far) in what everyone thought was a meaningless non bowl season. 5 games... so far!!! This guy can win here.... recruiting needs to improve, but from my perspective player development throughout the year has been evident.
To all the people saying we need coaching experience.. it looks like HCBO is learning on the job to me.
