This single statement is the demise of our fan base. It happens every year and is extremely frustrating for people who look at spades as spades.
What has happened so far this season? A second year first time HC lead a team that went 4-8 last season to a sloppy win over Missouri State and got beat by South Carolina (who very well could end up being a top 25 team).
I'm not going to bash anyone, I'm just merely pointing out that expectations are a tricky thing. Realistically, we returned one of the worst defenses in football with a few new roster adds, improved the O line, and brought back an offense with some great talent but productivity question marks.
Having said this, if we would have been realistic and expected normal PROGRESSION, we would be expecting somewhere around a 6-6 season with a bowl game. A two win improvement. We are still in just fine position to hit that mark.
The problem is where the Kool Aid drinkers start throwing 9 & 10 wins out before we've played a down of ball. There will be growing pains, so let's just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Give the staff at least through Auburn before we all start acting like a bunch of PMS women
