When I wrote this thread it was me putting down the worst possible scenario I could think of with the search once it seemed like maybe things weren’t going so well. Yes, I do superstitiously believe in the reverse jinx sometimes and hoped there was no way it could actually get that bad. It did. All I can say is ****.
Just going to get this out of the way now in case this goes the way Gabe's most recent update indicates it might.
Should Sterk not get a guy that excites the fan base...
The picture that will likely be painted is a lateral hire at best coming after firing a True Son who poured many years of his life into the program and apparently got little support from the AD over his career as HC at Mizzou.
I hope that's completely off base and Mizzou lands a winner. If not, it's got to be Sterk's head because he's done a hell of a lot less for the university than Barry Odom.
