1. Every week we ask "Can it get worse?" And every week it does. Everyone wants to think this is rock bottom. And maybe it is. You better HOPE it is. Because four weeks of worse than what I just witnessed is not going to be any fun for anyone.

2. I give up on the substitution patterns. I don't know who's healthy, who's not, who is going to play series to series and how it's determined. Anthony Sherrils, Josh Moore, Nate Howard, Alex Ross all got time in this one. J'Mon Moore didn't start. I don't know how to explain it. And there's not much point in trying.

3. If the defense was different, it sure looked the same. Odom called plays from what I can tell. As far as the actual scheme, we'll learn more about that (maybe) in the post-game press conference. But whatever changes were made, they didn't help.

4. Vegas was drunk. The simplest explanation is usually the best. Nobody could figure out how Missouri was favored by 4.5 to start the week and nearly a TD by kickoff. And they shouldn't have been. Vegas usually gets it right. Sometimes they get it so spectularly wrong you can't even figure out what they were thinking.

5. It's fair to question the effort. I won't accuse anyone of giving up or not giving full effort, at least not without asking (and we'll ask). But I have a hard time believing Kentucky is simply THAT much better than Missouri. Better? Sure. To walk in and turn it over twice and still just rail Missouri up and down the field? I have a hard time buying that happens if Missouri is going all out.
