It seems like a lot of people really enjoy bashing our own on this Mizzou message board...and we are quick to judge and pass on the "BUST" or "CAREER BACK-UP" label.
Not many can start out like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes...as talented as those guys are...they also were placed in nearly ideal situations as far as both Coaching and surrounding casts.
Many other HOF quarter backs were not so lucky and were labeled as BUSTS early on.
I am not saying that Lock will be a Hall-of-Famer...or a Bust...what I am saying is that it's too early to pass judgement.
Please go back and QB view stats, team W/L records, and actual game footage of some of these HOF Quarterbacks when they were young and playing on bad offenses:
