My biggest concern with the rising SO class is that they're all complimentary role players. Which of them, if any, has the chance of being Melvin Booker, i.e. an 8-PPG role playing FR who was Big 8 POY as SR? Or even Clarence Gilbert who grew so much over time?
Puryear - like him a lot but fear that his lack of height is a limiting factor.
Phillips - love so much about him but he does not seem to possess a scorer's mentality.
Walton - may be the best candidate in my eyes but why did he play so little?
CVL - a gigantic disappointment IMO and someone who appears overmatched
Right now, I rank these guys' upsides in this order from highest to lowest: Walton, Phillips, Puryear . . . . . . and then CVL.
Thoughts?
