Hi all! The Great Cycle Challenge (for childhood Cancer) is just 2 weeks from the start and yes, I'm soliciting donations. The cause is just and the time and miles I put is worth the results. This year, I'm pledging a minimum of 1200 miles. With that, I will be loading up my weekends with tons of miles. I'm planning on doing at least one Century (100+ miles) as well as multiple 50-, 60- and 70-mile rides.
These rides are mostly accomplished solo and unsupported save whenever I can get a ride in with my wife Pam.
You can mostly see me riding in the Raytown area of KC or out as far as Lee's Summit Mo or even Buckner on an early Sunday morning. Give a shout out or a soft honk as you drive by.
I typically do these long solo rides but for the past 8 years, I'm used September as a means to help out this great charity that I found that support fight cancer in kids.
