With the news of the filler games coming this past week, I dove into possible game match-ups for our opening in 2025, and with giving up a home game to Boston College in KC in 2024, I looked up other P5 teams that have openings that we could schedule. From this list, who would you want to schedule, either as a 1 time game, home and home, etc. My choice is USC H and H, but that is probably a pipe dream.
Mizzou, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee are the SEC teams that don't have a 2025 OOC P5 game, that also don't have a traditional OOC rival.
Mizzou starts the Illinois series in 2026 in Champaign.
