Really tough one to call I think. Furthermore, my wife is a GA fan so I have to keep my biases in check. Here's my take; GA has had many teams as good as this in just in the last fifteen years, another words it's not a special team other than they took advantage of a weak East, and then beat down Auburn by overwhelming their limited qb. Don't get me wrong their running game and defense is top notch, but similar to what they usually have. I'm not sold on their qb to win a big game of this caliber.
On the other hand, OU has feasted on non existant defenses all year, Mayfield runs around and toys with conference foes as they don't have a pass rush to disrupt him. GA will get to him often, but will he make a lot of plays? And can GA young qb score on an improved OU defense. Thoughts?
