Gabe or someone with knowledge, who actually hires the AD?

Does the AD report to the President, the Chancellor, or to the Curators?

I was thinking the AD reports to the Curators, and isn't technically supervised by either the President or Chancellor, but am not 100% sure.

I think it definitely matters, due to the interim nature of the Prez and Chancellor currently
