Curious in everyone's thoughts.
Was pleasantly surprised by the turnout. Yes, we knew it was a sellout. But everyone showed up. Placed looked packed and there didn't seem to be any spots left on the hill. Most folks seem to stay longer than I thought for a blowout game. Wasn't until the fourth quarter when you noticed a bit more empty seats.
Student section was fired up. Very loud and noticeable. They showed well.
Electronic ticket scans seem to go a bit smoother but some people just struggle with it.
New video board looked great and the sound system was much better.
Most people seemed to enjoy the drone show but if you were in the South End Zone you were out of luck.
They kept Timmy Trumpet 3rd down which I am good with as people seem to get into it.
The Mr. Brightside cover-up was a massive fail. Like others have said, you are either in or out.
There was concern about the road repairs coming west on I-70 but luckily it wasn't a big deal.
Overall, it was a great night to kick off the season and the boys took care of business. Looking forward to the next one.
