Here are the ones I'd watch if I were home all day:
*Louisiana-Monroe at UGA, 11 am, SECN: I wouldn't really watch it, but you've got to have a game on at 11, so I'd pick this one and maybe flip to kansas-South Dakota State on Fox Sports during commercials.
*BYU at Nebraska, 230 pm, ABC: Beginning of the Riley era, potential competitive game, good look at a future Mizzou opponent and the 2nd best opposing QB on the schedule this year.
*Louisville at Auburn, 230 pm, CBS: I picked Auburn to win the SEC and make the playoff. But they could lose this game. Don't think they will, but they could.
*Bowling Green at Tennessee, 3 pm, SECN: I'm going to want to watch every Tennessee game this year, just to see if this is the week the mirage goes away.
*Missouri State at Memphis: 6 pm, ESPN3: Again, I probably wouldn't watch the whole thing, but Stec makes his debut against Odom-less Memphis. It's worth a few minutes.
*Arizona State vs Texas A&M, 6 pm, ESPN: This might be my favorite game of week one. Think it should be competitive. I've seen both teams picked by at least a few people to make the CFB playoff...and yet I don't think either one even wins its division.
*Texas at Notre Dame, 6:30, NBC: Okay, I wouldn't watch because it would be like watching the guy you hate the most fight the guy you hate the second most and rooting for someone to win. You don't root for either one to win. You hope they both beat the other one to a bloody pulp and then there are simultaneous knockouts and at the end of the game, both are declared losers and told they aren't allowed to play any more games the rest of the season. But, hey, on the bright side, at least you know one of these teams loses (hint: it's the one wearing orange)
*Wisconsin vs Alabama, 7 pm, ABC: Bama should win this. But Wisconsin is good enough you just never know, especially in a season opener. Definitely the headliner of the day.
*Mississippi State at Southern Miss, 9 pm, FoxSports1: Again, don't really watch it. Turn it on for background noise as you rejoice/fall asleep/pass out at the end of the first full Saturday of college football.
