Channel 5 News had a story more important than sports. MU and KU working together to save a dog with cancer. System developed at KU tested on a dog at MU. Cancer treatment may have ramifications for human.
7 dogs tested,(6 at KU and 1 MU) 3 are cancer free and 4 stabilized. It is a start, hopefully there will be continued cooperation on what is important in the real world.
