I'm from St. Louis and have been to KC a few times (usually to visit family or go to a sporting event), but I've never done any of the touristy things. My wife has only lived in MO for a couple of years, and this weekend will be her first time to the western side of the state. We're getting there pretty late Friday and staying until Sunday afternoon or so. What are some suggestions on things to do? I've already booked an experience at Breakout KC. We plan to spend some time at the WWI Museum, and I'd like to see the Negro Leagues Museum, but I'm not sure she'd go for that. Maybe I can convince her if it gets a lot of support on here. Is the Negro Leagues Museum worth seeing? She isn't the world's biggest baseball fan. It's a shame the Royals are in Toronto. I'd like to catch a game at the K. It's been a while since I've been there.
Anyway, what am I missing, and what should I be sure not to miss?
EDIT: We'd like to try a good BBQ place as well, preferably a non-beaker place. Open to suggestions on that, too.
