Golf guys...question

Admittedly, I am no golf guy. I haven’t played in 5 years and even then I only played because my boss made me. I don’t really follow it except it’s a sport so I hear a little about it. I saw @GabeD say he didn’t like that Bryson guy and I’ve heard that in a few different places. I’m wondering why? I know he bulked up rather quickly in order to increase his drive. Is that the reason, because people think he did steroids? Is it because he’s a bit arrogant? I heard his interview after his first round and I didn’t think he was too cocky. I’m just honestly curious as to why I’ve heard that.
