Saw it for the first time last night. So many holes in the plot it wasn't even enjoyable. For a "thriller" or who-dun-it, a seriously anti-climactic ending. We're just to agree with the plot fact that the FBI believed her story and didn't further investigate? That the local detective just gave up on the case despite knowing the truth? That there was zero explanation for how the wife was allegedly pregnant with Affleck's baby at the end of the film? That Affleck was man enough to knock her around after she came back home, call her a bitch, etc., but has no balls and went along with her media song & dance after her return home?
Bullshit story. Ghey as fukc ending. Weak presentation. IMO
