From Alan Shipnuck, who was on site for season opener in Mexico. Some great reporting in here. Change to how money is being paid in the team format. Teams are now having to pay for their own travel. Doesn’t sound like caddies are being spoiled like they were last year. Also, apparently the Saudi prince was none too pleased with how the players publicized their luxurious travel. TV ratings on the CW were abysmal, and I hear the picture quality wasn’t much better.
