I campaigned hard for this guy to get a Mizzou offer in football but it just wasn't in the cards.
Daniel Morris from Ft. Zumwalt East HS is both a stud athlete and fantastic person and he will be headed off to Air Force this Fall to play for the Falcons.
He was All-State/All-Metro as a WR as a Junior and this past Fall made both teams again as ATHLETE after switching to Quarterback as a Senior. He also is an excellent punter/kicker and defensive back.
Also All-District in Basketball and just made All-State in Track in three VERY DIFFERENT events.
He threw the shot 51' 5" to placed 8th, high jumped 6-3" to place 6th, and ran the 110m High Hurdles in 14.35 to place 3rd...all this after being hurt for most of the track season.
He twice won the Parkway North Invitational 8-event Octathlon and could likely be a D-I caliber Decathlete if his first love wasn't football.
CONGRATULATIONS Daniel...you are a STUD and I will be rooting for you this Fall!
