My old handle on here was Skyart66. Some of you folks on here will remember me as part of the pyro crew that filled the arena with smoke and pissed off espn the last time we beat ku in The Arena.
I've shot my last display and have now retired from active shooting. Still in the business but no more road trips.
I've been in pyro for 35 years and have shot large displays all over the country. Nothing, and I mean nothing comes close to that last ku game in my entire career. Not New York harbor, Disney or Thunder Over Louisville.
Its not because I was able to shoot pyro for my hometown team. Its because it allowed me to be in the building for that game.
