The Power Mizzou articles and video with Josh have been awesome...allowing us to get to know the Big Guy a liitle bit and get a feel for his personality and what makes him tick.

He certainly seems to embrace the role his must play for this team now (with Brantly out) and his attitude and demeanor impressed me a lot with all I have read and heard about him.

“Since Harold got hurt I know I’m a big priority,” Augusta said. “I’ve got to help this team.”

Dave Matter's article was very good also with a little background on his home life coming out of Peoria. Here are some quotes from his HS Coach:

At Peoria (Ill.) High School, Augusta played multiple positions for coach Tim Thornton, including receiver. As a junior and already 300 pounds, he once turned a bubble screen into a 75-yard catch and run.

“He was probably the best punter on the team,” Thornton said. “He had the best arm. Caught the ball the best. Then he went out and just happened to be the best D-lineman on the team as well.”

Also...he has twin 17 year old little brothers back in Peoria...wonder if they are anything like Big Brother?
