Torrence Watson's emergence has been by far the most promising sign of the last few weeks. He's got nine points at half. He's now 11-22 from three over the last two and a half games. But he's not JUST a shooter now. He's driving the ball and getting to the line.

Xavier Pinson just put together the best half of his career. 7 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and ran the show while Jordan Geist sat the final five minutes with foul trouble. If this kid can grow over the next couple of years the way he has over the last 12 months or so, he might be really, really, really good.

Mitchell Smith played nice productive minutes. Jeremiah Tilmon played well and doesn't have a foul. Mizzou had only five turnovers.

We've seen this script before, so now we see if Mizzou can sustain it. But doing this without Mark Smith or Javon Pickett against a team that has to win to feel confident it's in the NCAA Tournament is pretty impressive so far.
