My goodness, when this team is good, it is REALLY good. I'm not trying to make Ole Miss the 98 Bulls or anything, but Mizzou just ran them out of the gym. 40-20 in the last 16 minutes. Now, it's still a game because of the first four, but hell of a last three quarters of the first half.

Jontay Porter: My goodness. He leads Missouri in points, rebounds, steals and assists. In fact, he leads all players in all those categories except points. He's been incredible.

Kevin Puryear has also been very good in my opinion. He's been really aggressive in the last few games. That's made this team quite a bit better.

(Looks around, whispers): Jeremiah Tilmon does not have any fouls.

I didn't think Missouri wanted a shootout. I thought they needed this game in the 60s. Well, they're on pace for 80. Ole Miss does not excel on defense.

Missouri, though, has been all over the place on defense. They've blocked shots, they've challenged shots, they've gotten in passing lanes. Very impressive. Maybe more impressive than the offense honestly.

A win would put them tied for fourth, half a game behind Florida for third in the SEC. It would put them in position to make the NCAA Tournament by doing nothing more than winning the rest of their home games. Big half coming up.

Missouri can end this game in the first eight minutes of the second half. Let's see if they can do it.
