THAT Jeremiah Tilmon and THAT Jordan Barnett will win Missouri a whole bunch of games. I mean a whole bunch.
Offensively, it wasn't pretty. But Barnett hit some shots and Tilmon was as tough as I've seen him. You've got to think Kassius Robertson will get going. And maybe the shot before half does something for Jontay Porter. If he'd just shoot when he has the ball in the paint without fading away he'd go to the line eight or ten times a night.
Defensively it was really impressive. The Aggies just never got anything going. They scored 21 points and six of them were on offensive rebounds. Their best offense was a missed shot. And they missed a bunch. I don't think Missouri can take too much credit for 1-12 from three. I mean some of them were open. You've got to think they'll shoot it better in the second half.
Also remember A&M played about 13 minutes without leading scorer Tyler Davis who had two fouls.
Missouri is FAR from out of the woods. Cuonzo Martin needs to have them ready coming out of the locker room. Because I'm willing to bet A&M will be. If you can get to the first TV timeout and keep the lead the same, it's very encouraging.
