As someone who has seen more than his fair share of ugly basketball in this building, I feel qualified to say that was some very, very ugly basketball.

The teams combined to shoot 15 for 70. 15. For. 70. Xavier Pinson was the only player who made a three pointer and honestly maybe the only player who made a jump shot period. He was 2-3. Everyone else was 0-21.

There were 23 offensive rebounds in the half, 13 for Bradley and 10 for Mizzou (to be fair, there were a lot of opportunities for offensive rebounds). Each team had eight second chance points and they scored a combined eight points from the free throw line or the score would be even uglier.

We do have to credit the defenses a bit. They've combined for five steals and six blocks. But a lot of this was really bad shooting. At this rate, they'll be hard pressed to score more points than Alabama and Florida did in the SEC title game.

That said, Missouri led most of the way and kept Bradley a couple possessions behind most of the way. It doesn't matter how many points you score as long as you score more than the other guys.
