This is a game and it shouldn't be. Missouri had this thing under control and then all of a sudden didn't.

I hated the decision to go for the 50 yard field goal before half. Either leave your offense out there or punt and make them go 90 yards. But by putting a guy out there who frankly I don't have much confidence is going to make a 50 yarder anyway, you allowed the block, gave Purdue the ball at the 46 and gave them all the momentum. That's on Barry Odom.

It hurt losing DeMarkus Acy obviously. Missouri's secondary is a concern...which we knew. It's getting exposed in this game. Purdue has a decent receiving corps, but not a great one and those guys were just torching Missouri all night long. We'll see if getting Brandon Lee back helps. I still think the Missouri defense is better than it was last year...but I don't think it's what I'd call good.

Emanuel Hall also hasn't been on the field for a long time and we aren't sure why. Not sure on the status of Yasir Durant right now.

Drew Lock is going to have to go win this game. Missouri has run the ball better, but not great still (Damarea Crockett has been the least effective of the three backs by far). Put this one on the shoulders of your best player and ask him to carry you to a win. I think Missouri's the better team certainly, but they've allowed Purdue to hang around and that's never a great recipe. Buckle up, should be a good one up till around midnight.
