By my count, in the first 5 minutes and last 4 minutes of the half, we were outscored 21-0. That's obviously really bad.
In the middle 11, Tigers played really well for a 27-19 advantage.
As I mentioned in the other thread, KSU is on fire from outside. 8-14 from 3 point range. Coming in, they were shooting 20% on the season. That's 347th. We've been sagging hard, and they've been doing what they haven't all season. Adjustments will have to be made, but at this point, Mizzou doesn't have the personnel to beat a top 20 team that is hitting from each level.
Tigers otherwise have played pretty well. Not shooting it overly well, but they're facing a really tough defense (pomeroy has them #4). Rebounds are close, Tigers do have 7 turnovers (feels like Mitchell Smith has 8).
I'd be surprised if we seriously threaten again, but there's a lot of importance in the 2nd half. Come out and execute and get experience. KSU is what a upper quarter SEC team is going to look like.
