Missouri's 46 points is the most it has had in the first half of a game this season. The offense was very, very good. Nine assists and four turnovers against a team they turned it over 24 times against on the road. Very good.

Jeremiah Tilmon was phenomenal. The technical foul seemed to be bogus, but he's only got two and he should be free to play his game in the second half.

Jordan Geist had 12 points and seems to hit a big shot when Missouri needs one.

Speaking of big shots, Torrence Watson only made one, but it was huge. At 41-34 after the Tilmon tech, Watson got lost on a three and drained it (Mike Anderson ain't gonna want to watch that first half defensive film).

Everybody's favorite whipping boy, Kevin Puryear, put up eight points and seven rebounds in a hell of a first half. Think maybe he got the message when Cuonzo called out the power forwards after the last game?

Xavier Pinson has won me over. The offense is just better with him out there. Five points, five rebounds, two assists. And he's comfortable at this pace. If you'd told me the game was 46-36 at halftime, I would have said Missouri let itself get sped up and turned the ball over too much and was down ten. Pinson is a big reason I'd have been wrong.

Now, I've seen this team up double figures before. So let's not hold any celebrations just yet. The Tigers need to keep feeding it down low to Tilmon and Puryear and make anyone besides Daniel Gafford beat them. You understand Gafford is going to get his. He has 16 and 4 at halftime. If you hold him under 25 for the game, I think you win.
