I'm sure there is some angst over the second quarter. And I kind of get it. Missouri didn't look all that hot in that one. But when it's 27-0 eight minutes in, it's a natural thing to relax. There's simply no way to convince your players that SEMO has any chance to even make it interesting. It doesn't mean everything else that happens is meaningless, but you also can't view it in a vacuum and think it was likely Mizzou was going to win every quarter by four touchdowns.

Larry Rountree looks just fine. He's over 100 yards of total offense.

Kelly Bryant's deep ball looks good and it's good to see Jalen Knox show up. He has over 100 yards on four catches.

A few too many penalties, but honestly the only damaging one was the roughing the punter and I truly don't know how Jerney Jones missed the ball.

The Tigers scored in every phase of the game in the first half of the first quarter. They were completely dominant. It doesn't mean a whole lot for next week, but if this game's going to be on the schedule (and I've been very consistent in saying I wish it wasn't), you saw what you wanted to see.

If I'm a SEMO player, I'm a little hesitant to go back out there. If I'm a SEMO parent, I'm texting my son at halftime to tell him to fake an injury. There have been some absolutely vicious hits.

I think the starters should be done. They deserve to play a full half because they only get 12 games, but I don't see a need to play any of them any longer than that.
