You look at the stats and see Mizzou shooting 60%, 50% from three, just seven turnovers and they hit all the benchmarks. You think it's probably a really good offensive half. And it WAS a good offensive half. But it was still just 36 points because that was one of the slowest halves of basketball I've ever seen. Every possession was taking 20-30 seconds. Only one transition basket for either team that I can remember and at least three shot clock violations and a couple others were close. Both teams played offense relatively well, they just did it incredibly slowly.
That said, Missouri played nine guys and eight of them scored. Five of them hit a three. Jeremiah Tilmon only had one foul and Parker Braun gave you some nice minutes at the five.
Interesting that neither Mitchell Smith or Tray Jackson has seen the floor. Not sure if that's just about the matchup or if more goes into it. Kind of figured one of them would, but it was Braun instead.
Nice to see Torrence Watson hit a shot and Javon Pickett find something offensively. Tilmon needs the ball more.
This is a dangerous half because it's a close game and Wofford's capable of getting really hot from three.
