Let's start with the good...
Mizzou is down 2.
The bad? The rest...
We shot it ok, so that's not terrible. I also like our spurts of trying to exploit the inside mismatch. That had a pretty high degree of success.
I was shocked to see we've only turned it over two more times than Vandy, but the 9 is inexcusable. Vandy doesn't even attempt to force turnovers. It's laziness with the ball.
Mizzou tightened up the outside D later in the half, but unlike Kentucky, this is a team you can't let beat you from outside. Yeah, they're knocking down an absurd rate (7 of 10 at one point), but they're not a team that's going to consistently beat you inside...or at least one that shouldn't.
Porter and Tilmon have 15 of our 30. Puryear and Nikko have 6 more. Need more from our guards. Would love to see more attacking on offense.
Mizzou was in danger of getting run out of the gym, but due to stepping up a little and more to Vandy simply not putting the hammer down, they're in it.
