Shot a final-round, 3-under 69 to finish T4 in the last of three Korn Ferry Tour playoff events. Finished seventh in the playoff race, comfortably inside the top 25 needed to get his PGA Tour card.
Most impressive is that he got his card after just missing out in the regular season, where he was 32nd. (Top 25 got cards.) But he backed that up with a T7 and a T4 in the playoffs. Turns out the 170 points he got in the first event would’ve been enough. But he left no doubt.
This doesn’t guarantee he’ll get starts in every full-field event he wants, but he should get his fair share of starts in the fall. Gotta take advantage of those opportunities.
