It’s all good. Shot a bogey-free 5-under 67 in the first round. Had a share of the lead through 11 holes but parred the last seven. He’s in a three-way tie for third, two shot back of second and four shots out of the lead.
The top 25 in the three-event playoffs get their PGA Tour card. He entered the week T12 and at the end of play Thursday was projected to finish sixth.
