Some of you pay attention to the little guys around the state and with Sam Bailey looking to be the first Lamar Tiger to start for Mizzou I thought I would brag a bit.
Lamar has started the season 2-0. That sounds ok until you hear they have outscored their opponents 105-0 (55-0 and 50-0). In additions each game had them in the mid 40's by halftime and played JV and Freshmen the second half. That is a 2A team beating two 3A schools pretty handily.
There will probably be some tough games down the road but nearly all are against 3A schools which makes them that much better come post season.
