Okay, I have been going to Mizzou games since 1999. I go to road games. So I think I'm a pretty avid fan. But I have never played football. I have an idea of what it takes to have a good offense. But I know nothing about defense. I know Mizzou is bad at it. But what do the experts on the board see? I think it takes a good D-Line getting pressure. This forces the QB's into quicker decisions. Guys don't have as much time to get open, etc. But are there ways to mask this? What would some guys on here suggest? Schematically speaking? Also, since BO took over the defense they don't seem to get turnovers. I never thought Stec had a great D, they just got a lot of turnovers. Kind of like Bob Sutton. Saturday night there were times when we had no one on the side of the field with the ball. It was like the Tennessee game last year.
I would just like to see some responses from football guys on what they think they D is doing wrong, what schemes could be changed to fix this and if there is a fix in sight? Thanks!
