Picked up a family friend last night after his Honor Flight. Very impressive.
I think last night was the 56th Honor Flight from mid Mo.
If you have a family member, or friend, who is a veteran, I strongly suggest it be something they do.
Also, according to the ladies I spoke with last night, everything the organizers do is voluntary.
Last night the Patriot guard bikers met the buses at Kingdom City. The MO Highway Patrol blocked westbound access to I-70 between Kingdom City and Columbia.
Fireworks at Millersburg exit. The bikers and the HP escorted them back to Columbia.
Quite a deal.
