I'll post updates here as we go. You can talk about it.
Rosburg honored during senior ceremony along with five student managers. First player to sign with Mizzou out of high school and have a senior night since Laurence Bowers. Next year's lone senior is scheduled to be Russell Woods.
Gators start Robinson, Allen, Phinney-Smith, Chiozza and Egbunu. Mizzou goes with Phillips, Walton, Wright, Puryear and Rosburg. Walton's seventh start, replacing Tramaine Isabell in the lineup.
FIRST HALF
Gators in all orange, Tigers in all black. Egbunu and Puryear jump center and Missouri starts with the ball. Walton catches it right at midcourt and stops into the backcourt. Turnover five seconds in for the Tigers. Oops.
Florida comes out man to man and Rosburg misses a wild shot. Teams are a combined 0-4 so far. No score a minute in.
Florida scores first on an offensive rebound, a nice touch pass and a Phinney Smith dunk. Namon Wright misses a layup. Egbunu makes one. 4-0 Gators.
Walton draws a foul in transition and will try to get the Tigers on the board at the line. He makes one. Tigers trail 4-1 a little less than three minutes in.
Cullen VanLeer in for Walton.
Missouri is not defending the three point line well. Florida finally makes them pay. 9-3 Gators. The scoreboard is out here. I'll try to keep track of the score.
TV TIMEOUT: 9-3 Gators. 15:45 to go in the half. Florida has six of its nine points within two feet of the basket.
Missouri has not actually had a shot from the field go through the net. Only field goal came on a goaltend.
VanLeer misses a three. The shot looks good. It just doesn't go in most of the time.
Florida is outhustling Mizzou on the offensive glass. There's really no way to deny that.
As soon as i say that, a nice hustling save by Phillips to get Mizzou possession.
Russell Woods set to check in as Puryear scores. Florida has been better than Missouri but really has to feel like it should be up more than four points. They are now as Kasey Hill makes a three.
Woods and Isabell in for Rosburg and Phillips.
It's 14-5. Just pretty much lifeless. Best word I can find to describe it.
Gant's in the game. Anderson has played all nine of his available scholarship players.
Missouri is 2-11. One of those makes is a goaltend. This is pretty ugly.
Florida has more dunks than Missouri has field goals.
It's 21-9 after a Namon Wright three. He misses the next one. Tigers were real close to averaging a point a minute there.
Florida has had a ton of wide open threes. They have missed quite a few. It could be even worse.
Wright with another three. But it's still 24-12.
TV TIMEOUT: Florida 26 Mizzou 14 7:26 to go in the first half.
It's 33-16. I could go through how it's gone down, but it's more entertaining to follow whether the scoreboard is going to work or not.
Woods and Gant in for Puryear and Rosburg, who just picked up his second foul.
Terrence Phililps playing a nice all around game with two points, six rebounds (game high) and four assists. Tigers back within 11.
TV TIMEOUT: 35-24 Florida, 3:57 left first half.
Jimmy Barton in for Terrence Phillips for the final 2:38. Phillips one of three Tigers with two fouls. Not sure why it wouldn't be Isabell, but at this point, whatever.
Chris Chiozza makes a three, then streaks in front of a lazy inbounds from Gant, feeds a teammate for a breakaway. He's fouled. Used to be an 11 point lead. Could quickly be 16. Just a lazy play with no awareness from Gant.
Phillips misses a three. Gators get it back with 34 seconds left. Can't quite take the last shot but can come close.
Chiozza apparently fouled by Gant at the free throw line. I really don't know what they said he did. Pretty poor call. Rewarded Chiozza for just firing up one of the ugliest shots I've ever seen. Either way, free throws are good and Florida takes its largest lead at 18 points.
Tigers don't get a shot off as Puryear loses control on the way up
HALFTIME: Florida 46 Mizzou 28. It's been as ugly as it sounds.
Second half prediction: The lead balloons to 22. Florida lets up, Mizzou gets it back to eight, Florida turns it back on to win by 14. Not that I've seen this before.
SECOND HALF
A Namon Wright steal and layup cuts it to 14. Chiozza scores, but Puryear counters. He's already got five in the second half. But Missouri's going to have to significantly ramp up the defense to make a real run. As I say that they give up another open three. Chiozza has 13 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds.
Rosburg gets his third foul. Woods and VanLeer in. The lead is back to 18.
BREAKING: Russell Woods scored.
TV TIMEOUT: 57-41 Florida. 14:38 to go in the season.
Terrence Philips just got a T. I honestly didn't see what he did.
The free throws are good and Florida's lead is 20.
TV TIMEOUT: 64-43 Florida. There is 11:59 left in the season.
Gators call a timeout with the lead down to 17. 10:28 to go.
Gant scores and cuts the lead to 15, but commits his third foul on the other end. Florida has already shot 24 free throws. The most recent one nearly missed the rim.
Phillips is fouled and both teams will be in the bonus for the final 8:58.
Jimmy Barton in for Phillips. He turns it over on the inbounds. Isabell apparently firmly in the doghouse.
Wright misses two free throws, but Missouri gets the rebound and Rosburg scores. The lead is down to 11. Following the script to perfection.
TV TIMEOUT: 66-53 Gators. 7:51 left in the season.\
Terrence Philips has a +/- of 0 in 26 minutes, which means the teams have been even in his floor time. In other six minutes, Gators +12.
Phillips has six points, nine boards, seven assists. Focus of the final 6:21 should be him getting the first triple double in Tiger history IMO.
Kasey Hill makes a three, the lead is back to 16 and there will be no charge to the point where we think Missouri has any shot to win the game today.
Flagrant one sends Phillips to the line. He makes one. 7 points, 9 boards, 7 assists with 3:13 left.
Namon Wright makes one free throw. It's a 10 point game, closest it's been in the second half.
Terrence Phillips makes a three. 10 points, 10 boards, 7 assists. Don't think he can get three assists in the last 80 seconds.
Mizzou cuts the lead to seven, but there is just 1:04 to play. Far too little, far too late.
FINAL: Florida 82 Missouri 72. Tigers finish 10-21/3-15
