I was trying to think of a college QB that was highly acclaimed, forced into action early, struggled then had a switch come on and went on to a great career. I remembered Carson Palmer. The first time I saw him throw a football I thought it looked like a thing of beauty. But he struggled a lot early on and a lot had written him off as a bust. But at some point during his junior year (w help of new regime) he started figuring it out. Then, obviously his senior year he went apeshit and won a Heisman. Well, I looked up the stats and I was right. Hell, Drew has been better the last two years than Palmer during up to the same point in their careers. I don't know, it's an optimists way of thinking Drew has some big things in front of him. No, I don't expect DL to win the Heisman and I know....Idaho & Uconn. I'm sure everyone on CPs schedule was in the AP top 5. Have a look.
