So I hate to be the guy to start a kansas thread but today was pretty awesome. Some friends and I met at the hotshots on Watson in St. Louis around 2 pm to drink some beers and watch some basketball. Little did we know, it was a ku alumni association watch party. By their game time it was basically 60 kansas fans and the 8 of us. We discussed going somewhere else but decided the payoff if WSU won was too much to pass up.
Long story short, they bitched about every call they didn't get and were all super quiet down the stretch. Our cheering got louder the drunker we got and the larger the shocker lead got. Most of the place had cleared out by 10 minutes after the final horn. Once they took the sound off the game and returned it to the jukebox I pulled up my touchtunes app to play kansas' Dust in the Wind. Once the 8 jayhawk fans left realized what it was they bitched to the bartender until he skipped it.
