If this team had Rod Johnson at LT, allowing McGovern to play OG, with Ezekiel E playing RB how different would things probably look and feel right now?

We are only talking about 2 in-state recruits. Not the pipe dream argument that we should land our first choice guys at every position every year. We are talking about failing to get just 2 crucial in-state guys that we should have never been out recruited for and are among the best if not the best at their respective positions.

IMO it shows how close we are right now. We are talking about closing on 1-2 more high level guys each year being the difference between East Chanps and SEC champs, or 9-3 down years compared to 7-5 down years.

On a side note, if Lock is who we think he is it will be criminal if we don't give him an OL to win with over the next 4 years. I think the RB coming in from Texas next year looks legit, and it appears he better be. There are enough young WR that enough should emerge from the pack to have a passing game that we can win with. It is crucial that the OL in the last 2 recruiting classes develop and can play at a high level. But the OL recruiting and player development has to get better, otherwise we better start over recruiting at OL every year to see what sticks.
