Seriously, what do they rate their metrics on? I'm almost positive with no proof at all. That they have three blind kids throw darts at a dart board and divide the number by three for each college team. Then have their writers do whatever it takes to justify it.
For example Texas A &M is ranked 14th in their index. The last two years they have said Aggie is overlooked and according to their ranking is a top team. Then Aggie starts hot, followed by Kevin dropping a Sumlin the rest of the season. So it's obviously been accurate so far. So why not do it again.
Now they have Tenner and LSU at 30% chance to win the SEC and for example Bama at 12%, same with Georgia and Old Piss at 7%. So it's not based on stars here because well, Bama has more than anyone else. It won't be based on coaching because well.....Nick Saban is Saban. I can understand LSU. They have maybe the best rb in all of football on their roster. Obviously they need QB improvement but who doesn't? They have a pretty good coach who has taken it to Eagan before. But what the hell has butch ever done besides treat Lil John like a legend?
Finally my guy says stars because Aggie of all things makes zero sense. They don't even have a QB. He had the game of his life vs Bama then got benched the next season for poor play vs inferior competition. But I really can't believe espin just looks at recruiting stars and makes shit up.
