I've taken a lot of heat on here when it comes to Missouri's "wait and see/offer' approach when it comes to in-state recruits. I say some of the kids feel disappointed when they get recognized by others before Mizzou comes in the picture. Many of you say it doesn't matter when they get a Mizzou offer and they should just be happy to get one. That they try to 'Big time' Mizzou. I said the opposite in a lot of cases. For those that say that doesn't matter when you get it, Jamie Nance proves my point has some validity, and he's an out-a-state guys. Which says its should mean more to in-state guys:
"We are always keeping in touch. I'm always sure to keep them in touch. They were the first school to give me a chance, so that's very important to me. I keep in touch with Coach (Barry) Odom and Coach (A.J.) Ofodile."
So that being said, and to show that I'm fair. I've recently seen Mizzou offer multiple in-state guys lately with their 1st or 1st Power 5 offer. So its great to see the Tigers, no longer have the 'wait and see' approach with nearly all in-state guys. Good job HCBO & guys!
