This subject could be discussed with any number of sports or even concerts. It seems to me that ticket prices for Mizzou football games are absurdly high, especially for the new upper deck section on the east side. For the Memphis game, the cheapest seat in the upper deck is priced at $50 via mutigers.com. I think it's $55 for Vandy. That's ri-Goddamn-diculous. Those seats are empty during almost all of Mizzou's games. Those tickets need to be about $20 per seat, instead of just letting them go empty. Think about that...it's going to cost a family of four at least $200 - $220 just to walk in the door, for some of the worst seats in the stadium. Not to mention parking, etc. It's far past time for Jim Sterk to reevaluate ticket pricing, especially with so many seats going empty/unused. I'll hand it to the in-state MLB teams, at least they have a MYRIAD of price points to choose from and attending is still affordable. Mizzou is doing a piss poor job of selling their "cheap" seats. LOWER THE PRICES!!!
