So I asked a variation of this question on the mailbag but I've been thinking about it a lot still. I've seen a lot of people say you can't fire Odom for making a bowl and why would we fired a coach who has made a bowl 4 years in a row or whatever? Well, why not? There's like 9,001 bowls at this point and all you have to do is be mediocre to get in one. The accomplishment isn't as meaningful as it once was. Not to mention Odom hasn't won a bowl game. Are we really just going to retain this guy because they got a Phillip's 66 chili cheese fries bowl patch on their uniforms? I wanted Odom to workout but it obviously isn't and I hope Sterk has already made a decision in his head because if the Odom pattern continues (and it hasn't showed any reason it'll change) then you're only going to fire him next year anyway so let's just avoid the one year delay. I really hope an Arkansas win isn't the deciding factor.
