I stated earlier...before the first game...I had this fear of revisiting the post Warren Powers pre Larry Smith years.
I am too old to go through that again.
I have to go to a wedding today so I did not make the trip to Columbia. It gets harder every year.
Barry Odom...great guy...is not going to get it done. Is it partly due to problems beyond his control? Perhaps..that is what they said about all of those guys between Powers and Smith.
I am out....it is too expensive and too emotionally exhausting for me. I have turned the game off. I will check and see what the final score will be. I can't watch any more.
I now hate college football.
Perhaps when we get our "football" version of Cuonzo Martin I can regain some enthusiasm and energy.
