Not a bit. I most certainly don't hate him. He should have never been hired. That is obvious now, many of us said so at the time (I am most certainly not a Kim apologist). I wanted him to succeed, but he just wasn't qualified to be our coach. That is not his fault. He got offered his dream job, of course he is going to take it. I didn't expect him to resign after last year, nor do I now.
This is a problem of leadership. I don't even blame Frank Haith for this mess. Haith/Kim Anderson should have never been hired. Its not the coaches fault they were hired. This is on Mike Alden, the 'search committees', the Chancellor and any boosters that backed Frank/Kim. Two obvious bad hires were made. We the fans are stuck with the results as everyone who made those mistakes waltzed (or got pushed for other reasons) out the door. The absentee AD that should have fired him last year, is also gone.
But its not Kim's fault. It wasn't Franks fault (except for the NCAA violations). I do not hate either. I feel bad for Kim, given his love for MIZZOU. Firing him is will be an act of mercy. It won't be fun. But leadership will do it. I'd say good leadership, but we don't know that yet. It such on obvious decision.
That's just a long way of saying that hate for Kim is completely misguided and uncalled for. We could not expect him to turn down his dream job. He thought he could do it. MIZZOU leadership should have known better. Boosters that backed Kim, should have known better. Fans need to make sure they are directing their hate/blame at the right people. The problem (or maybe a great thing) is those people are gone.
I will again retreat to the OT and the MB. Good luck to MIZZOU fans!
