but I must admit to being greatly disappointed in the game-day experience on Saturday. It was probably the worst since I started going to MU football games in 1963. To wit:
1. Enough has been said on here already about the lousy job of scanning tickets at the gate, so I'll not add more.
2. On the west side, at least one concession stand was CLOSED and the others had lines so long that it took forever to get what you wanted. Not enough staffing. But why on earth would you open only one sales point at each stand? A couple may have had two open spots, but most were serving from one sales point and the lines were LONG.
3. Quite disappointed in the concession options, too. I think this is the first time EVER that bratwurst was not available at an MU football game. Instead, kielbasa was offered. WHY? Not that it was bad, but many more people would favor bratwurst and always have.
4. There seemed to be two variations of concession stands and nothing particularly unique. How about some BBQ, which Missouri is known for? Or chicken fingers. Or anything that people might want other than hamburgers and hot dogs.
5. And the WORST: No programs! I don't think I have ever been to a high school game that had no programs, much less a Division I college game.
DRF has her work cut out for her. Worst game experience EVER at Mizzou!
