Lots of threads and posts on firing him. I want to give him another year. I think the defense made progress this year and I like the direction it is going. The offense never got going with Bryant at QB...I’m not sure it is all his fault, but we have another transfer eligible next year and a couple of freshman that will fight for a position. Without question, these players love and support Barry. We have a decent class committed for next year already. I like the incremental progress our staff is making with recruiting efforts in St. Louis. Combine all those things and I’m just not willing to fire a guy after five or six bad games in a row. Let’s let him continue with building the program and developing his players. He’s the head coach of a division one power five football team. He will be evaluated every single year. Support him and let’s see what happens next year.
